The BT Brand Campaign flagship special build – a complete takeover of Piccadilly lights, arguably the most iconic outdoor advertising space worldwide. A select bunch of excited kids were encouraged to use their tech skills and code their own avatars live on the big screen. A concise matrix of avatar possibilities was designed with close consideration for alignment, hairstyle, eyes, nose, mouth, skin colour etc. With varying brand identity and campaign messaging run intermittently throughout. Formats include both full and partial takeovers with design and production support for digital statics and art direction for motion. The project received a Bronze Award in the ‘Installation & Experience’ category and was among the nominations in the ‘Tech Innovation’ category as part of the Clearchannel Outdoor Media Awards 2020.
