IQOS manufacture premium heated tobacco products as an alternative to smoking. The client, professing a love for kitsch and retro product campaigns, required a motion display for the main corner window at their Kensington High Street pop-up store.
The solution was a printed graphic screen backlit by a programmable grid of LED lights with a slick oversize 3D model of the product at the forefront. A design showcasing the product itself and a colourful array of cap attachments was carefully developed to work in this way. Then concise storyboards were made to show art direction for the exact motion program with both it's static daytime state and a spectacular fully lit motion end frame. Design, art direction for motion and technical artwork was a fun process throughout.
